Rules for Werewolf: The Apocalypse

"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."
-- Albert Einstein

This information is based on an alternate timeline where events transpire differently than in the published materials for White Wolf's old World of Darkness.

Rules based on Werewolf: The Apocalypse Second Edition Revised.

Ajaba

The Ajaba are the warriors of Africa. They cull the herds, kill the diseased and hunt the minions of Asura and eat them. Like the Grondr and Gurahl they have gifts of cleansing, but they use them very differently -- they use them to cleanse themselves after battle with particularly corrupt enemies.

ANIMAL: Hyena. Possesses the strongest bite of any mammal, and debatably any living animal.

SPECIAL: Bite: Str +3, Lock Jaw.

Bubasti

CATS: Originally the great cats of Egypt. Now there are only domesticated versions such as the Mau, Caracal, and African Wild Cat. Their cat form is all black and slightly larger than a large house cat.

It is generally believed that there were "house" cats and larger "guardian cats" that are, in some mixure, represented closest by the current Egyptian Mau and the African Wild Cat respectively. It is believed that all domestic cats have at least some relation to these cats but the Mau is the closest to the house cats of later Egyptian dynasties and the African Wild Cat is the cat that they originated from.

Egyptian Mau
The Mau (mau is the Egyptian word for cat) has been clearly identified in the artwork of the ancient Egyptians, leaving no question in the minds of many experts that the Egyptian Mau is indeed the cat domesticated from a spotted subspecies of the African Wild Cat (also known as African Jungle Cat).

Bubasti

Great Cat of Kyphur?
I have not been able to find any reference outside of a White Wolf book of a "Great Cat of Kyphur". If anyone knows of them, please e-mail me and let me know where I can find this information.

Use of Rage

Spending Rage will grant the Gurahl immune to damage from the next hit he takes. This can only be done once per round.

Mokole (Werecrocodiles)

Mokole

Background: Mnesis Revisited

Mnesis is the race memory of the Mokole. I am adding two new qualifiers for the individual levels based on the length of time: Memory quality and how well known the event is.

Lock Jaw

This applies to Crocus (Ajaba), Hyaenid (Ajaba), Chatro (Bastet), and Feline (Bastet) forms only. Once bite is established, they can lock their jaw and continue to do damage every round. Spending Rage will not increase the amount of damage that can be done in a round.
